Master the Art of Digital Photography is a book which in my opinion should be in every photographers library. It is written by 2 Olympus visionary photographers - Jay Dickman and Jay Kinghorn whom I have a huge respect for, and does on one level deal with the four thirds system but it isn't an apology (as in defense) for the system. However on the other hand its focus is on photography where Jay Dickman is a master, and using tools to turn your snapshots into Photographs, focused mainly around lightroom where Jay Kinghorn excels. In tandem pairing it has to be one of the best books I have read on digital photography. Nearly every page is filled to the top with practical information, and photos which should transform your photography.
For those who do not know Jay Dickman, and Jay Kinghorn more information about them and this book is available at the companion website Perfect Digital Photography. I believe that John Knaur, Senior Marketing Manager, of Olympus Imaging says it best, "From cover to cover, this book is filled with priceless information on how to get great photos, and how to make sure they are your best."
On many levels this is the book I have been waiting for to see, it isn't focused around just Nikon and Canon, and is full of incredible photography, and tips. The reading of the book is easy to understand, and in my opinion whether an amateur or professional all will be able to glen a lot from the book. This book is the book I have been waiting for, and a great addition to my library.
